VDSL Broadband

VDSL is the most widely available broadband service type in the UK. As a result businesses still rely on VDSL for their business broadband, use it as a back-up service or for their home workers.

VDSL is also known as standard broadband, but we don’t think it should be treated as a “standard” product. Which is why we add a host of features to make sure we’re offering the best VDSL broadband businesses can get.

Our value-added features include:

  • Fastest available speed in your area guaranteed.
  • Low latency guarantee for superior communications.
  • 7 hour fix time SLA option.
  • 30-day contract options.

VDSL isn’t the only option for your business connectivity. FTTP offers speeds up to 1Gbps at tremendous value. EoFTTC offers Leased Line service levels at a fraction of the price. EFM can improve speed and reliability in areas with copper-only exchanges.

For your vital home workers our Premium Home Worker broadband gives priority to business traffic and business-level fix SLAs. Our consultants will help you find the best connection for your needs.

With our fully-managed broadband services we take care of everything for you.

Faults will be fixed by our in-house team wherever possible. If we do have to involve the network, we’ll do all the chasing so you don’t have to.

We’ll also handle any router programming changes which may be needed to enable your cloud services.

Fibre to the Premises has the potential to allows speeds of up to 1,000mbps in the UK. As a result is becoming very popular with SMEs who have outgrown their Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) connections.

FTTP is faster than FTTC because it uses fibre optic cable for the whole connection (FTTC runs on copper for the last leg).

The Government has committed to FTTP being available everywhere in the UK by 2023.

FTTP is also known as Fibre to the Home (FTTH) in residential use.

EoFTTC gives Leased Line service levels over and FTTC connection.

The ethernet-like service levels of EoFTTC usually includes:

    • Symmetrical speeds (same upload as download).
    • Guaranteed & uncontended bandwidth (not shared with others).
    • Speeds often “burstable” to maximum line speed.
    • Fix time SLAs (rather than “best endeavours” of FTTC).

This makes EoFTTC a great solution when service consistency is more important and outright speed.

EFM offers symmetrical upload and download speeds over copper (ADSL) lines. Once “bonded” it presents as a single Ethernet service to the end customer.

EFM offer 2-pair or 4-pair varieties with speeds roughly akin to 10Mbps (up and down) per pair.

A key benefit of EFM is that all the lines would need to drop to lose the connection entirely. So, with 4-pair if one line fails, the other 3 will continue to allow a connection.

      Business Broadband for Home Workers

      Business Broadband for Home Workers.

Residential broadband services aren’t built with business users in mind. Bandwidth is shared between up to 10 households and providers throttle supply at peak times to ensure services don’t cut out. Inside the house everyone uses the same connection. There’s nothing to stop video streaming impacting the quality of your vital conference call.

That’s why we created Premium Home Worker Broadband. We guarantee you the fastest speed in your area. We don’t throttle bandwidth, ever. And we protect business traffic so it has priority over other users. If you’re doing business at home, you deserve a business service. You’ll get it with Premium Home Worker Broadband.

      Solving slow speed services.

You may have been told you can’t get faster speeds because of your location. We can help.

First, we’ll check with all our sources to make sure there aren’t better services available. We have access to business-focused services mainstream providers don’t.

But if you’re limited to ADSL or FTTC we can still improve your speed using bonding technology. This allows us to “bond” up to 4 connections together but present them to you as one.

Not only does this improve speeds, but because there’s more than one connection, it’s also more resilient.

      SoGEA (VDSL Replacement)

      SoGEA (VDSL Replacement)

SoGEA is a newly created product that will replace VDSL connections as they currently exist.

VDSL uses copper phone lines for the final connection into your premises, but these PSTN lines are about to be discontinued in the UK.

SoGEA has been developed to allow VDSL services to be installed without the need for the copper cable.

We are currently planning to offer all our existing VDSL services via SoGEA implementation.

If your business is reliant upon services using the PSTN/copper network, please get in touch to discuss your options.
