For emergency connectivity covering a large number of users, SD-WAN over 4G is our weapon of choice.

SD-WAN stands for Software-Defined Wide Area Networking. This technology essentially allows us to build a virtual network in the cloud.

With SD-WAN over 4G it enables us to “bond” together many 4G connections to act as one connection. We can then deploy this to you via a pre-configured router with both a private subnet and a NATed public IP address. The router can be configured to connect to your existing firewall and network infrastructure. We can even apply Quality of Service rules to prioritise certain traffic, such as VOIP, video or cloud services.

We provision our own SIMs at the touch of a button and configure the SD-WAN and the router immediately. So the speed of deployment is only limited by the speed of the fastest courier.

With the boom in home working the risk of losing a day’s labour to a lost connection has greatly increased. Residential broadband connections are prone to disconnection, speed loss and slow fix SLAs.

We can supply a compatible 4G dongle and dormant 4G data SIM for every worker. If the emergency comes, we’ll activate the SIM and help your team to get connected. If it saves even an hour of down time, it will usually have paid for itself.

For your road warriors, we can offer network-roaming SIMs so they can always get a connection wherever they are. But if their phone or dongle is lost, we can have new SIMs and devices with them pronto.
